Monk

The Monk unit is unique in its ability to grant additional damage bonuses to the intersecting unit in the grid. The board is capable of automatically determining every possible scenario and type of intersection, allowing for the damage to be simulated just as it would be in-game.

Although in the game the units change visually when they’re in an intersection, at present, this tool indicates an intersection with a text flag under the unit’s icon in the grid. These flags are as follows:

  • I: Shown when the Monk is in an intersection.
  • H: Shown when the Monk is receiving a vertical buff.
  • V: Shown when the Monk is receiving a horizontal buff.

In addition to the level and tier picker, this unit also offers the “Activated” checkbox. This can be used to simulate all the Monks being in their 10-second activated phase, which may be useful for understanding potential DPS in boss encounter scenarios.

Note: More detailed information about how this all works will be provided in the future. I am also planning on developing a more robust visual solution to indicate Monks in an intersection.
